It is with great sadness that we announce the death of Amanda June Shearer of Hannibal, Missouri, who passed away on September 22, 2022, at the age of 93, leaving to mourn family and friends. Family and friends are welcome to leave their condolences on this memorial page and share them with the family.
She was predeceased by: her parents, Lucian Holmes and Ethel Lewellen Holmes; her siblings, Mary Riddle, Sybil Nothdurft, William Holmes, B. F. Holmes and Orion Holmes; and her nephew Michael Holmes.
She is survived by: her children, Roger K. Shearer of Columbia, MO, Susan Ransdell (Clifton) of Hannibal, MO, Pat Bambei of Hannibal, MO and Jan Janes (David) of Hannibal, MO; her grandchildren, Adam Ransdell, Tyler Ransdell, Ben Ransdell, Kurt Bambei, Jordan Shearer, Katie Marley, Courtney Mann and Jacob Janes; and her great grandchildren, Adrienne Ransdell, Clayton Ransdell, Hayden Marley, Quinnlyn Mann and Briar Mann. She is also survived by her family, especially her grandchildren and great grandchildren.
In lieu of flowers, the family requests memorial contributions be made to Arch United Methodist Church.
