It is with deep sorrow that we announce the death of Alma F. Powell (Hannibal, Missouri), who passed away on August 14, 2022, at the age of 99, leaving to mourn family and friends. She was predeceased by: her parents, Otis Gibbons and Lera Watts Gibbons; and her children, Jean, Joan, Jane and Larry Wayne Powell.

She is survived by: her daughter Connie J. Martin of Murrells Inlet; and her grandchildren, Bryan Hartley (Effie) of Myrtle Beach, Matt Hartley (Tonya) of Myrtle Beach and Rachel Edwards (Bryan) of Asheville, NC. She is also survived by 8 great grandchildren.
