He was predeceased by: his parents, Delmar Whittaker and Bessie Whittaker (Bridgeman); his grandchild Jaime Peiter; and his brothers, David G. Whittaker, Clifford Whittaker, John Whittaker and Delmar Whittaker.
He is survived by: his wife Helen Phelps; his children, Albert Whittaker, Jr. of Hannibal, MO, Jason Tobin (Jessica) of New London, MO, Jenny Bell Whittaker of Hannibal, MO, Becky Peiter (Kenny) of Holt Summit, MO, Mary Jo Whittaker of Hannibal, MO and Casey Fessenden (Billy) of Hannibal, MO; and his siblings, James Whittaker (Trina) of Rolla, MO, Archie Whittaker (Gail) of Hannibal, MO, Rose Mary Shockley (Jesse) of Hannibal, MO and Ellen Dennis (Jerry) of Palmyra, MO.. He is also survived by nineteen grandchildren, six great grandchildren and numerous nieces and nephews.
