She was predeceased by: her parents, Larry Henry and Anita Kay Henry (Otto); and her son Michael Scott Cook. She is survived by: her husband James L. Cook (Junior); her children, Matt Cook (Bobbie), Hamilton, Kimberly Cook and Shawn Cook (Kelsey Shelton) of Independence, MO; her grandchildren, Ryan Cook, Mason Cook, Abbie Cook, Molly Brown and Mirabelle Brown; her brothers, Brent Henry (Susan) of Cameron, MO and Brian Henry; and her nephews, Blake and Seth Henry.

Memorials may be made to Children's Mercy Hospital in her memory.
