With heavy hearts, we announce the death of Robert Eugene Bowen of Hamilton, Missouri, who passed away on February 4, 2023 at the age of 75. Family and friends are welcome to leave their condolences on this memorial page and share them with the family.
He was predeceased by: his parents, Merlin Bowen and Kathleen Bowen-Axon; his brother Harold "Bud" Bowen; and his brother-in-law Neil Baker. He is survived by: his wife Wendy Schlorff; his sons, Chris Bowen (Tracy) of Hamilton and Jason Bowen (Becky) of Hamilton; his grandchildren, Carley Mackeprang (Jake), Gabe Bowen (Callie Calfee) and Chase Bowen; his great grandchildren, Jacey of Hamilton, Cooper of Hamilton and Carsyn Mackeprang of Hamilton; his pet Boomer; and his siblings, Karyn Lund (Deb) of Jefferson City, MO., David Bowen (Judy), Bev Kohler (Mike) and Cindy Baker of Gravois Mills, MO.. He is also survived by numerous nieces, nephews, extended family members and friends.
In lieu of flowers, Bob would have appreciated donations to the Hamilton R-II School FFA Chapter or Weaver Cemetery for upkeep and maintenance.
