He was predeceased by: his parents, Cuvella F. Place and Mary M. Place (Phelps); his wife Delores Ann Warmington; and his siblings, Janice Place and Darwin Place.
He is survived by: his children, Julie Rains (David) of Gallatin, MO, Joy Ford (David) of Osborn, MO and Zachary Place (Kelly) of Sibley, MO; his grandchildren, Hattie Rains, Addison Ford (Nick), Riley Rains (Jordan), Hannah Ford, Abbie Ford, Colton Place, Graydee Rains and Emma Place; his great grandchildren, Lincoln, Amelia and Palmer Rains; and his sister Donna Littrell of Independence, MO. He is also survived by nieces, nephews, and cousins.
In lieu of flowers, memorials may be made to the Alzheimer's Association.
