She was predeceased by: her parents, Otis Hazzard (Hap) and Effie Hazzard (Meyers); her former husband John E. McNary; and her siblings, Billy, Roy Hazzard, Ruby Allen, Reba Killin, Patricia Dunlap and Barbara Catron.
She is survived by: her husband Ellis Chowning; her daughter Virginia Pautz (Ed); her grandsons, Brandon Locker (Amber) and Jamie Locker; her stepchildren, James Chowning, Rita Sullivan (Ron) and Ellis Chowning, Jr.; and her sisters, Ruth Patee, Margie Catron and Joan Jennings (Charles). She is also survived by 3 great-grandchildren.
In lieu of flowers, memorials may be made to the Mirabile Cemetery or the donor's choice.
