He was predeceased by: his parents, Leland Jared and Molly Helen Hughes (Owens); his son Timothy Jarred Hughes; and his siblings, Betty Frazier (Wilburn), Karlean Smith (Russell) and L. J. Hughes.
He is survived by: his daughters, Anita Dunham (Van), Hamilton and Shauna Hughes (Rick) of Chillicothe, MO; his grandchildren, Kristine Hughes, Shatia Winsch (Jeremy), Cheyenne Dunham, Matayla Hughes (Kenny Wilburn), Levi, Garrison and Dakota Dunham; his great grandchildren, Audrey, Colton Sykes, Dylan Hughes and Makenna Wilburn; and his sister-in-law Kay Hughes.
In lieu of flowers, memorials may be made to the Bible Baptist Church.
