It is with great sadness that we announce the death of Joseph Walter Simmons (Hamilton, Missouri), born in Marshall, Missouri, who passed away on December 13, 2018, at the age of 72, leaving to mourn family and friends. Family and friends are welcome to leave their condolences on this memorial page and share them with the family.
He was predeceased by: his parents, Henry Theodore and Rosa Elizabeth Simmons (Lawson); and his daughter Theresa "T. K." King. He is survived by: his daughters, Julie Copple (Robb), Beth Britton (Gary), Boots Carty (Jim), Billie Jo Herrington (Dustin) and Bobbiejo Cook (Matt); and his brothers, Sam Simmons of Turney, MO and Bill Simmons. He is also survived by 18 grandchildren and 32 great-grandchildren.
In lieu of flowers, donations may be made to Poland-Thompson Funeral Home for expenses.
