He was predeceased by: his wife Nellie King Keathley; his parents, Jack Keathley and Elizabeth Keathley; and his daughter Vickie Lynn Keathley. He is survived by: his children, Sandy Perez (Abel) of Wichita, KS., Andrea Dyer (Jack) of Pulaski, Edward Keathley, Jr. (Margaret) of Hamilton, MO. and John Keathley (Katie) of Minor Hill, AL.; and his grandchild Jamie Vincent.
