He was predeceased by: his parents, William Christopher "Bud" and Elsie Mae Hartley (Cox); and his daughter Angie Hartley. He is survived by: his children, Tammy Terry (Roger), Melissa Gannaway (John), Sheila Lotz, Rhonda Hahn and Merecia Tennery (Brian). He is also survived by 12 grandchildren and 17 great-grandchildren.
Donald's wish was to donate his body to science to further the study and find a cure for Parkinson's Disease, a disease he has battled for some time. Memorials may be made in his memory to the Parkinson's Foundation.
