He was predeceased by: his parents, Maurice Bowers and Pearl Bowers (Whitehead). He is survived by: his wife Nancy Smith; his children, Brenda Ayers (Mark), Rob Bowers (Kerra) of Richmond, MO, DeAnn Blades (Jim), Cathy Zornes (Jeff) of Lee's Summit, MO and Cary Elliff (Shawn); his grandson Christopher Ayers (Misty) of Boonville, MO; and his children, Tim Ayers (Jamie), Matthew Ayers (Dacia) of Kansas City, MO, Elissa Zorn (Eric), Colby, Brock, McCauley Bowers of Richmond, MO, Kaylee Baker (Rusty) of Kingston, MO, Lyndee Rainey (Ryan) of Liberty, MO, Riley Blades, Maggie Jacobs (Nick) of Belton, MO, Laney Zornes of Lee's Summit, Jackson of Lee's Summit and Ryann Elliff of Lee's Summit. He is also survived by 14 great-grandchildren.
