She was predeceased by: her parents, Clinton Walker and Ethel Walker (Steward); and her sister Martha Howell. She is survived by: her husband Gilbert Thornton; and her children, Don Thornton (Karolyn) of Cassville, MO, Debbie Allen (Mark) of Hamilton, MO and Jackie Edmiston (James) of Gladstone, MO. She is also survived by 9 grandchildren and 7 great grandchildren.
