It is with deep sorrow that we announce the death of Samuel Austene Jr. (Hallsville, Missouri), who passed away on December 1, 2021, at the age of 84, leaving to mourn family and friends. You can send your sympathy in the guestbook provided and share it with the family.

He was predeceased by: his parents, Samuel McMinn, Sr. and Mildred Mary Grosshaus Austene. He is survived by: his wife Sandra Sue Berkley of Peoria, Illinois; his children, Robert Kevin Austene (Teresa) of Canton and Karrie Suzanne Russell (Jeff) of Highland, Michigan; his grandchildren, Kara Chambers (Joe), Kyle Austene (Christina), Valerie, Greg and Zach Russell; and his great grandchildren, Jameson, Lochlan, Rory Chambers, Madelyn and Teddy Austene.

In lieu of flowers, donations may be made to Red Top Christian Church Cemetery Fund, c/o Bach-Yager Funeral Chapel, 1610 N. Garth Ave., Columbia, MO 65202.
