With solemn hearts, we announce the passing of Robert Edward Mahaney Sr. of Hallsville, Missouri, whose presence will be deeply missed, having departed on September 16, 2024 at the age of 74. He was predeceased by: his parents, Mary Elizabeth Mahaney (Ganaway) and Robert Mahaney; his siblings, Blonnie Parker (Oliver), Margaret Wiser (Kenneth), Roberta Washington, Walter Mahaney, Vernice Britt and Wanda Britt; and also Flora Mahaney.
He is survived by: his wife Barbara Mahaney; his children, Starla Berry of Centralia, Natonya Bragg (Malcolm) of Murfreesboro and Robert Mahaney, Jr. (Natalea) of Montgomery City, Missouri; his grandchildren, Samyra Bragg-Evans (Daniel) of Independence, Na-Keysha Berry of St. Louis, Alaysha Beckham (Paul) of Centralia, Tempest Bragg of Murfreesboro, Keazha Berry of Hallsville, Makai Bragg of Murfreesboro, Luxuree Mahaney of Hallsville, Missouri, Glory Mahaney of Hallsville, Missouri and Todd Jeremiah Mahaney of Hallsville, Missouri; his siblings, Wilbur Britt of Jefferson City, Gilbert Mahaney (Debbie) of Kansas City, James P. Mahaney, Sr. (Vanessa) of Holts Summit, Leana Mahaney of Jefferson City and Stephanie Mahaney of Jefferson City, Missouri; and his siblings-in-law, Brenda Perkins (Donnell) of Vandalia Missouri, Benard (Latanya) of Louisiana Missouri, Roger Chatman of Vandalia Missouri, James Starks of Phoenix Arizona, Linda Gearldine Starks, Pamela Hammers, Joyce Chatman and Clifford Berry Jr.. He is also survived by nieces, nephews, cousins, and friends.
