He was predeceased by: his parents, Leonard C. South and Jane South (Norris); and his stepson Justin Gay. He is survived by: his wife Dorothy Anderson; his stepsons, Richard Anderson (Kristina) and Ryan Anderson (Tracy); his grandchildren, Grant, Logan Anderson, Karina and Alek Gay; and his siblings, Susan South-Poff (Estil), Eddie South (Janie) and Jerry South (Becky). He is also survived by step-grandchildren, step-great-grandchildren, nieces, nephews, cousins and many lifelong friends.
Memorial donations are suggested to the Hallsville Historical Society or Red-Top Christian Church and may be sent in care of Fenton-Kendrick Funeral Home, 104 S. Collier, Centralia, MO 65240.
