It is with great sadness that we announce the death of Virginia Myrl (Evans) Burton of Hale, Missouri, who passed away on May 25, 2021, at the age of 98, leaving to mourn family and friends. She was predeceased by: her parents, Alfred Evans and Lena Evans (Lantz Minnis); her husband Walter Howard; her grandson Mark Burton; her great grandchild Jeffrey Bowman; and her siblings, Milton, George, Lantz, Hubert, Kenneth Minnis, John Evans, Corinne Eisenhower, Mabelle Parker and Mildred Shipp.
She is survived by: her children, John H. Burton (Margaret) of Chillicothe, R. Leon Burton (Kathy) of Chillicothe, Steven Burton (Patti) of Hale, Nelson Burton (Connie) of Chillicothe, Neal Burton (Brenda) of Odessa, Missouri, Marian Burton of Wheeling, Missouri, Vivian Engleman (James) of Chillicothe, Missouri and Pamela Marriott (Wayne) of Chula, Missouri. She is also survived by nineteen grandchildren; forty-three great grandchildren; and six great-great grandchildren.
