She is survived by: her parents, John W. Dougherty and Gladys Dougherty (Ponting); her spouse John M. Vroom; her children, Terri Sykes (Robert) of Culleoka and Randy Vroom (Margie) of Liberty; her grandchildren, Travis Sykes, Chad Sykes, Nathan Sykes and Alexis Vroom; her great grandchildren, Milo Sykes and Hunter Sykes; and her siblings, Carol Maxon of Kansas City, John Henry Dougherty and Wanda Thornsberry. She is also survived by several nieces, nephews, and other relatives.
