He was predeceased by: his wife Ann Battaglia Phillips; his parents, Edmond John DeFilippo and Marie Dungan; and his sister Barbara Thorns. He is survived by: his significant other Carol Cassell; his children, Steve Phillips (Laurie), Chris Walsh and Patti Phillips; and his grandchildren, Shaeley Walsh, Leigha Phillips and Lindsay Mincks. He is also survived by several cousins, nieces, and nephews; and countless friends.
