She was predeceased by: her parents, John Daves and Rosa Daves (Barker); her husband Harold T. Hicks; her daughter Darla; and her siblings, Lloyd, Floyd Daves and Lois Gramlich.
She is survived by: her children, Linda Donathan (Mike) of Forsyth, Dennis "Lefty" Hicks of Greenville and Gail Golden (Rick) of Hiram; her grandchildren, Jeff Donathan (Amy), Darold Donathan (Shannon), Bobby Golden and Dawna Dewitt (Kelly); her great grandchildren, Alli, Sam Joseph, Caleb Donathan, Wyatt Golden, Destiny, Keaden, Delana and Kye Dewitt; and her brothers, Lavern Daves of Silva and Lawrence Daves (Naomi) of Advance. She is also survived by many nieces and nephews.
