He was predeceased by: his parents, Willard Byrd and Evalee Byrd (Burkhart); and his son-in-law Tony Rogers. He is survived by: his wife Martha Gardner; his daughters, Tina Rogers of Topeka, Nancy Short of Peoria, Michele Wampler (Brian) of Ozark and Sandra Crowdis of Greentop; his grandchildren, Tristan Rogers, Travis Rogers, Laci Short, Lexi Norwood, Gabriel Wampler, Abigail Wampler and Malakai Wampler; and his great grandchildren, Emilee Lafferty, Alayna Frantz and Aaliyah Robinson.
