He was predeceased by: his parents, William T. Elder and Virkita J. Elder Fleshner (Feist). He is survived by: his wife Lisa Cox; his children, Jared Adams (Whitney), Kendra Montgomery (Kyle), Angel Willard (Chris), Jamie Elder (David) and Virkita Thomas (Randy); and his brothers, Ted Elder (Marla) of Greentop, Ed Elder of Downing and J. J. Fleshner (Tonya) of Downing, Missouri. He is also survived by seventeen grandchildren.
