He was predeceased by: his parents, Gerald Akes and Marjorie Akes (Stark). He is survived by: his grandchildren, Trey Jones, Celeste Jones, Hailey Jones, Bradley Jones and Charlie Griffin; his wife Becky Akes; his brothers, Stan Akes (Sandie) of Des Moines, IA and Steven Akes (Terri) of Des Moines, IA; and his stepchildren, Barry Jones (Rachel) of Clever, MO, Cathy Jones of Nixa, MO and Phillip Jones of Harrison, AR. He is also survived by grandchildren, nieces, nephews, extended family, and friends.
