He was predeceased by: his parents, Marion Wheeler and Irene Wheeler (Crowley) of Mansfield, MO.; his son Johnny Wayne Thomas; and his nephew Johnny Lee Coffman. He is survived by: his wife Pat Thomas; his sister Betty; his brother-in-law Howard Coffman of Aurora, MO; his children, Sherry, Audrey and Justin; and his stepchildren, Chrystal of Greenfield, MO and Randy (Angela). He is also survived by fifteen grandchildren; thirteen great-grandchildren; three great-great-grandchildren; one niece; one nephew; and one great-niece.
In lieu of flowers, memorial contributions may be made to St. Jude Children's Hospital.
