He was predeceased by: his parents, Lanna Samuel and Lois Paxton (Savage); his daughter Darla Paxton; and his siblings, Lloyd, Charlie Paxton, Charlotte Phillips and Ila Adair.
He is survived by: his children, Tammy Henderson of Sedalia, Cozetta Chalfant of Sedalia, Sam Paxton (Cathy) of Sedalia, Shane Colin and Earl Duane Paxton of Sedalia; his grandchildren, Haley Henderson, Tyler Henderson, Josh Cochran, Jenny Paxton, Jeremy Paxton, Laura Chalfant, Ryan Willis, Hailey Colin and Austin Batts; and his brother Albert Spellmeyer of Sedalia.
