He is survived by: his children, Peter Dowell (Anita) of Sebastian, FL, Shelia Hill (Mike) of Novinger, MO, Brian Dowell (Carol) of Green City, MO, Sonya Salter (Mike), Stella Heldstab (John) of Cadiz, KY and Stacy Bruce; and his siblings-in-law, Jean Hannah of Kirksville, Sherry Walker and George Walker. He is also survived by twenty grandchildren, fifteen great-grandchildren and many wonderful nieces and nephews.
