He is survived by: his wife Mary Elizabeth Shoaf (Blocher-Baker); his stepdaughters, Angela Marie Baker Isley (Jason) of Silver Lake and Kimberly Ann Baker Carey (Troy) of Wabash, Indiana; his grandchildren, Stetson Ray Hodgen of Green City, Daylen Marie Bane Fruits (Isaac) of Lafayette, Mckenna Grace Bane of Waynetown, Carrie LaFaver Sanchez (Luie) of Liberty, Marrisa LaFaver Western (Zack) of Greentop, Blythe LaFaver of St. Charles, Samantha Leigh Carey of Scottsburg, Rebecca Michelle Carey of Plymouth, Leigha Elizabeth Carey of Wabash, Logan Patrick Carey of Wabash, Mathew Robert Carey of Warsaw, Allissa Paige Isley of Claypool and Brooke AnnMarie Isley of Liberty Mills, Indiana; and his siblings, Oscar Shoaf (Judy) of Delphi, Indiana, Carolyn Shoaf Young (Michael) of Crawfordsville, Marilyn Shoaf Easterling (Mark) of Crawfordsville, Charlotte Shoaf Lowery of Cocoa Beach and Patricia Shoaf Shuhmacher of Vero Beach, Florida. He is also survived by several nephews and nieces.
