It is with great sadness that we announce the death of James Leon Young of Green City, Missouri, who passed away on June 24, 2023, at the age of 87, leaving to mourn family and friends. Leave a sympathy message to the family on the memorial page of James Leon Young to pay them a last tribute.
He was loved and cherished by many people including: his parents, Harley W. Young and Nettie J. Young (Clelland); his children, Steven L. Young (Cindy) of Kirksville and Shelly Eisenmann (Alan) of Green City; his son-in-law Doug Bowling of Glenwood; his siblings, Dorothy K. Smith of Kansas City and Donald Ray Young of Florida; his sisters-in-law, Maxine Eddy (Hugh Dean) of Milan and Darlene Perkins (Riley) of Liberty; his wife Norma June Young (Pierson); and his daughter Sherry Lynn Bowling. He was also cherished by seven grandchildren and eight great grandchildren.
In lieu of flowers, donations may be made to the Sullivan County Memorial Hospital or to Mt. Olivet Cemetery.
