It is with great sadness that we announce the death of Georgene Young (Green City, Missouri), who passed away on March 11, 2023, at the age of 93, leaving to mourn family and friends. Family and friends are welcome to leave their condolences on this memorial page and share them with the family.
She was predeceased by: her parents, Mannie Elyard and Imogene Elyard (Walt); her granddaughter Lori Fleshman (Doug) of Milan; her sister Glenita Callahan (Elyard) of Missouri; her cousin Gary Bankus (Kay) of Colorado; her husband John Young; her stepmother Chistine Elyard; and her sister Carolyn Johnson (Fred).
She is survived by: her daughters, Pamela, Nancy Baker of Kirksville and Pam Curtis (Joe) of Centerville; her grandsons, Derek Baker (Beth) of Kirksville and Jared Curtis (Anne Smith); her great grandchildren, Carrie Sanchez (Luie), Felisha Showmaker (Morgan), Marissa Western (Zack), Blythe LaFaver and Brendan Baker; her stepgreat-grandchildren, Jessica, Meghan Fleshman, Cody Maize (Christy) and Morgan Maize (Shea); and her great great grandchildren, Kinsley, Kolby, Kip Western, Matigan, Kallan Showmaker, Jesse and Colt Maize.
