He was predeceased by: his parents, Cornie Jong and Elizabeth De Jong; and his wife Jean Malloy. He is survived by: his children, Rusty (Chris De Jong), Angie (Tom Walter), Dave (Amy De Jong), Ben (Kristal De Jong) and Tammy Rankin; his sister Glenda (Marion Klyn); and his siblings-in-law, Phyllis Allgood of Muskego, Marcia Michelson of Lauderhill and Dale (Sally Malloy). He is also survived by fourteen grandchildren, and eight great grandchildren.
