It is with great sadness that we announce the death of Rick Smedly (Green Castle, Missouri), born in Hemet, California, who passed away on March 13, 2020, at the age of 56, leaving to mourn family and friends. He was predeceased by: his parents, Gene Smedly and Marilyn Mick; and his sister Vicky Smedly. He is survived by: his wife Terri Rutledge; his stepchildren, Stephen Harnois (Betsy) of Meredosia, IL, Ailenna "Rose" Brogdon (Gary) of Literberry, IL and Matthew Rutledge (Jenna) of Springfield; his grandchildren, Zoey, Harley, Delaney, Yasmine, Stephen "Stevie", Braedyn, Henry and Liam; his stepsiblings, Becky Borcher and Rick Lung of Beardstown, IL; and his pet Jackyl.
