Family and friends must say goodbye to their beloved Steve Groven (Grant City, Missouri), born in Fort Riley, Kansas, who passed away at the age of 61, on February 17, 2025. He was loved and cherished by many people including: his parents, Richard Groven and Loretta Groven (Riley); his grandparents, Clifford, Elsie Riley, Clarence and Frances Groven; his wife Lauri Christine Davidson; his children, Erik Groven (Katie), Sierra Groven (Luke Jensen) and Justin Kleider; his grandchildren, Ethan Groven, Evan Groven, Emilee Groven, Paisley Schwebach, Haven Jensen, Marlie Kleider, Father Richard Groven and Mother Loretta Bright (Robert); and his siblings, Dianna Moad (Lee), Debbie Fletchall (Jim), Kathy Sherer (Brian), Mike Frisch (Jamie), Cindy Frisch (Rob) and Vicki Stevens (Stuart). He was also cherished by siblings, many nieces and nephews, and a host of other friends.
Visitation was held on Thursday, February 20th 2025 from 6:00 PM to 8:00 PM at the Crossroads Assembly of God Church. A funeral service was held on Friday, February 21st 2025 at 10:30 AM at the God Church.
