He is survived by: his daughter Sherri; his granddaughters, Kaylee and Claire; his wife Cathy James; his daughters, Sheri Slagle (Preston) of Grant City and Becky McElvain (Tyler) of Grant City; his grandchild Cooper Slagle; his aunt Hellen Dredge; and his siblings, Beverly Burton, Elaine Owens (Carl), Thelma Morris (Stephen), Byland James, Keith James (Theresa), Calvin James, Max James and Larry James (Rachel).
