He was predeceased by: his siblings, Robert E. Ray and Betty Ann Ray. He is survived by: his daughters, Connie and Susan; his brother Roger Ray of Texas; and also JoAnn Leeper. He is also survived by his parents, his loving wife of 74 years, Virginia; infant daughter.
