It is with deep sorrow that we announce the death of Donald E. Scieszinski of Grandview, Missouri, born in Melrose, Iowa, who passed away on January 26, 2024, at the age of 84, leaving to mourn family and friends. You can send your sympathy in the guestbook provided and share it with the family.

He was predeceased by: his parents, Leo Scieszinski and Evelyn Scieszinski (Crall); his siblings, David, Raymond, Gene and Lucille Sullivan; and his parents-in-law, John and Ann Sullivan.

He is survived by: his wife Joan Sullivan of Grandview; his sons, Mark Scieszinski (Susan) of Raymore and Ron Scieszinski of Grandview; his grandchildren, Kevin Scieszinski of Kansas City and Sarah Scieszinski of Raymore; and his siblings-in-law, Jimmy Sullivan of Ankeny, IA and Patricia Scieszinski of Melrose, IA. He is also survived by many nieces and nephews.

The family has requested, in lieu of flowers, remembrances to Donald be made in a monetary contribution that will be donated to Welcome Home Soldier Monument in Albia, IA.
