It is with deep sorrow that we announce the death of Carolyn Louise Carlton of Grandview, Missouri, born in Kansas City, Kansas, who passed away on April 12, 2023, at the age of 82, leaving to mourn family and friends. She was predeceased by: her parents, Robert Barrett and Josephine Barrett (Summers); her son Kyle Carlton; her siblings, Robert, Charles Barrett and Joann Hinman; her nephews, Michael, Kenneth, Larry and Curtis; her niece Cindy Hinman; her nieces, Roberta and Stephanie; and also Lindsay.

She is survived by: her husband Kirby Carlton; her children, Lissa Melber (Lance) and Brent Carlton; her grandchildren, Kyla, Monica, Reece, Christina and Becky; and her nieces and nephews, Cathy, Cheryl, Chris, Gary, Bob, Karen, Rebecca, Charlie, Gregg, Jim, Susan and Craig.

In lieu of flowers, memorial contributions are suggested to Kansas City Hospice or the Alzheimer's Association.
