He was predeceased by: his parents, Harry Wilds and Iva Lewis (Jorden); his son Matthew C. Wilds; and his siblings, Evelyn Ann Jenkins and Charles Wilds.
He is survived by: his wife Carolyn Long; his sons, John F. Wilds, II (Kim) of Morehouse, MO, Robert E. Wilds of St. Louis, MO and Edward J. Wilds of Poplar Bluff, MO; his brother Willard Wilds of Doniphan; his grandchildren, Caleb, Trenton, Kalee Dawn, Landon "Monkey" and Hayden; and his great grandchildren, Matthew, Maverick and Mallory. He is also survived by several nieces and nephews.
