She was predeceased by: her parents, Harold Nichols and Etta Sue Nichols (Burress); her former husband Roy Patterson; her husband David Gibson; and her son Jason Guy Patterson.
She is survived by: her children, Roanna Patterson of Denver, Jayme Patterson (Sherry) of Auburn and Joe Patterson (Christi) of Kansas City, Missouri; her siblings, Jim Nichols and Evelyn; her grandchildren, Ashley Recktenwald, Cody Dan Patterson, Summer Patterson and Elijah Patterson; and her great grandchildren, Eason Recktenwald and Ricia Recktenwald.
