He is survived by: his parents, Albert E Akehurst and Edith Akehurst (Shira); his brother-in-law Gene Davison; his children, David (Leslie Akehurst), Sharon Woodruff and Steven (Donna Akehurst); his grandchildren, Heather (Aaron Kixmueller), Joshua (Annie Akehurst), Jacob (Cindy Akehurst), Christina Woodruff, Jennifer (Shawn Talbert), Kimberly (Mikey Slates) and Caleb Elder; and his great grandchildren, Brenden, Marissa Akehurst, Mason, Kendall Akehurst, Kayla, Kendra, Olivia Talbert, Maycy, Kaydyn Slates and Jonathan Elder.
