It is with great sadness that we announce the death of William E. Cumberford of Grain Valley, Missouri, born in Saint Joseph, Missouri, who passed away on August 9, 2023, at the age of 89, leaving to mourn family and friends. Family and friends are welcome to leave their condolences on this memorial page and share them with the family.
He was predeceased by: his parents, William Ernest and Ruth Marie Cumberford (Anderson); and his siblings, Sturg Cumberford and Shirley Morgenroth. He is survived by: his wife Virgie Cumberford; and his children, William E. Cumberford III (Starla) of Lee's Summit, MO, Allison Dyer (Dean) of Lone Jack, MO, Ron Cumberford (Angie) of Lone Jack, MO and Susan Cumberford of Lee's Summit, MO. He is also survived by eight grandchildren; and seven great-grandchildren.
In lieu of flowers, contributions may be made to First Baptist Church of Oak Grove Youth & Children's Department.
