She was predeceased by: her parents, Roy Yokley and Loubelle Yokley (Leatherman); her husband John R. Smith; her daughter Rebecca Richard; and her grandson Jeremiah Richard.
She is survived by: her children, Greg Smith (Darlene) of Grain Valley, Matt Smith (Nikki) of Greenville and Brandy O'Connor (Eric) of Buckner. She is also survived by seven grandchildren and Thirteen great grandchildren.
