He was predeceased by: his parents, Irvin Brooks and Eava Joyce Brooks (Farier); his son Christopher Brooks; and his siblings, Pat Berry, Elaine Berry and Kathy Lee.
He is survived by: his wife Glenna Brooks; his daughters, Candace Brooks (Kevin Caldwell) and Tiffany Yunker (Robert); and his siblings, Dennis Berry (Margaret), Michael Brooks (Nola), Terry Berry (Lorna), Connie Penick, Hope Huggins, Steve Berry, Karen Henson (Roy), Glenn Berry, Keith Berry, David Berry and Barbie Mathia. He is also survived by 5 grandchildren; and 3 great-grandchildren.
