She was predeceased by: her parents, Edwin Sr. Preston and Lula Preston (Pettigrew); her siblings, Edwin Preston Jr., Sara Rogers and Charles Preston; and her granddaughter Jackie Decker.
She is survived by: her husband Elbert "Cricket" Chiddix of Blue Springs, MO; her children, Cheryl Clutter (Charles) of Hamilton, TX, Edwin Chiddix (Susan) of Blue Springs, MO and Charles Chiddix of Jefferson City, MO; and her grandchildren, Eddie Chiddix (Kerry) of Waverly, MO, Shawn Chiddix (Jessica) of Kansas City, MO, Heather Colwell of Garland, TX, Scott Clutter (Jenny) of Frisco, TX and Stefaine Hilton (Mike) of Blue Springs, MO. She is also survived by 11 great-grandchildren; 1 great-great-grandchild.
Her family suggests that memorial contributions be made to the American Cancer Society.
