He was predeceased by: his parents, George McCready and Dorothy McCready. He is survived by: his wife Kathy McCready; his children, Melissa Smith (Tony) of Lone Jack, Shawna Hart (Troy) of Flowery Branch, Georgia, Timothy McCready of Sheridan, Tiffany Short (Doug) of Independence and Michael McPeak of Humble, Texas.; his grandchildren, Derek Smith, Alison Ross, Evan, Austin, Emily (Joshua Hart), Kayla (Sean McCready), Zachary (Sarah Short) and Ryder (Tristan McPeak); and his great grandchildren, Aiden and Callie McCready.
His sisters Lynn (Larry) Lee of Overland Park, Kansas, Janice Kays of Overland Park, Kansas; as well as numerous nieces and nephews.In lieu of flowers, please send contributions in Mike's honor to the mission program of Cross Creek Baptist Mission located at 1050 SW 15th St. Oak Grove, Missouri 64075.
