She was predeceased by: her parents, James Cadle and Mary Cadle; and her sister June Bailey Cadle. She is survived by: her husband John Vernon Hilburn Sr.; her children, John V. Hilburn Jr. (Margie), Mary K. Garcia and Carla Creswell (Dale); her grandchildren, Jennifer Dromey (Michael), Rebecca Fruits (David), Jason Hansmann (Nichole), Ashlee Creswell (Donald), Sarah Garcia and Renee Creswell; her great grandchildren, Josephine Dromey, Ardun Fruits, Bennett Fruits, Bella Hoffman, Killian Creswell, Alyssa Farage and Michelle Hansmann; and her brothers, James Cadle, John Cadle and Ralph Cadle.
In lieu of flowers, Mary's wishes were to have contributions sent to the Kingsville Seventh Day Adventist Church for their school.
