He was predeceased by: his parents, Lloyd Dan and Virginia B. Pate (Grayer); his son Ryan Brent Pate; and his sister Sheila Ann Pate. He is survived by: his wife Christina Pate of Grain Valley, MO; his daughter Dina Cowan (Ariel) of Lee's Summit, MO; his stepsons, Nicholas Niemann (Niki) of Blue Springs, MO and Ryan Niemann (Kenzi) of Odessa, MO; his grandchildren, Aliana Cowan and Briella Cowan; his siblings, Shawna Pate of Independence, MO and Burl Pate (Minda) of Blue Springs, MO; his parents-in-law, Harold and Kathy Stufflebean of Blue Springs, MO; his nephew Kyle Pate (Emily) of Blue Springs, MO; and his niece Ashlynn Pate of Oak Grove, MO. He is also survived by many extended family and friends.
