He was loved and cherished by many people including: his parents, Rex Sanderson and Nina Pearl Simon; his wife Eva Jean Sanderson; his children, Lisa Dawn Smothers, Donna Lynne Collums (Dudly Collums), Joseph Shane Sanderson, Lana Sonya Mead (Mike Mead), John Jason Sanderson and Leslie Cheri Menichetti; and his brothers, Rex Franklin Sanderson of Houston, MS and John Gary Simon of Pachuta, MS.. He was also cherished by his 17 grandchildren and 19 great grandchildren.
