He was predeceased by: his parents, Homer Thomas Salyer and Flossie Cordilia Paris-Salyer (Cordie); his siblings, Stewart P of Salyer, T. D, Homer T. Salyer (HT), Billy R. Salyer, Sydney E., Vivian A. Salyer-Harrison, Doris E. Salyer-James, Lois F. Salyer-Sigloch and Betty M. Salyer-Warner; his grandson Andrew Bradley Salyer; and his great grandchild Paul Alexander Jackson.
He is survived by: his wife Mattie Pearl Spaw-Salyer; his sons, Dale Wayne Salyer (Krista) and Allen Lee Salyer (Sheila); his siblings, Jack P. Salyer (Nancy) and Barbara D. Salyer-Gillilan; his grandchildren, John C. Riling (Shellie), Shawna R. Scrivner-Jackson (Jared), Madison L. Salyer-Gregorio (Ben), Jessica R. Salyer and Anna M. Salyer; his great grandchildren, Caleb C. Riling, Cadyn L. Riling, Colton A. Riling, Charlie E. Jackson, Lucas A. Gregorio and Allen J. Gregorio; and his great great grandchildren, Beckett A. Riling, Ramona F. Riling and Ivy P. Riling.
