He was predeceased by: his parents, Carl Busse and Annie Busse (Ekis); and his sons, George Busse Jr. and Carey Busse. He is survived by: his wife Wilma Busse; his children, Georgette Dixion, Sharon Furman, John Busse, Deanna Kissel, Tim Busse and Tom Busse; his stepchildren, Diane Bryant and Kenneth Ballard, Jr.; and his siblings, Eva Baker, Joann Forman, Larry Busse and Carl Busse, Jr..
