He was predeceased by: his parents, Lorne Alfred and Evelyn Frances Johnston (Smith); and his brother Richard Johnston. He is survived by: his wife Margaret Johnston; his sons, David Johnston of Grain Valley, MO, Floyd Johnston Jr. (Merrie) of Lone Jack, MO, Joe Johnston of Blue Springs, MO and Mark Johnston of Holden, MO; and his siblings, Charlene Kenyon of Bates City, MO and Robert Johnston (Roenna) of Bates City, MO. He is also survived by seven grandchildren; nine great-grandchildren; and several nieces and nephews.
In lieu of flowers, contributions may be made to Wayside Waifs or St. Jude Children's Research Hospital.
